Hallo,
Ich weiss nicht wann im Deutsch es werden sein. Before my new book can
appear in German, a German publisher (like Omega-Verlag in Dusseldorf
who did my first book) has to purchase the right to publish it from
my United States publisher, Hampton Roads Publishing. Then they
translate the book into German and get it printed and distributed.
I understand it is a complex process. After the first book was
published in German, my wife and I went to Dusseldorf and met with
the people from Omega-Verlag. They are very nice people. But they
told us that the sale of books in Germany is very restricted by the
German government, and therefore it is hard to make any money doing it.
They didn't say what the market was like in other German-speaking
countries or how hard it is to sell books to other countries.
If they do well with my first book, maybe they will consider doing
the new one. Danke fur seine Frage.
